Central Asia is known for its beautiful and colorful woven and tufted rugs. A few weeks back I got the chance to go to a market and see some of these beauties first hand, and purchase one—errr three, amazing vintage Kazakh carpets.
I love waking up every morning and dropping my feet onto this gorgeous piece of history. The bright beautiful patterns are just so stunning! Even if you don’t get the chance to drop into a carpet bazaar in Kazakhstan or Turkmenistan you can still bring some of the same pattern and color into your home.Check out some of my favorites!
