Helloo Succulents! My current summer obsession are these lush little plants. The soft texture and modern sunburst shape can add interest and life to any space. The best part is that for those of you who have the black (rather than green) thumb—myself included, succulents are drought tolerant plants that can sustain in indoor and outdoor environments. Proof is captured in this photo I snapped of the succulents thriving in my mother’s garden…I inherited my black thumb from her.

A recent project out in California had a perfect opportunity to introduce mounted succulent frames as wall art –Remember when I gushed about these living vertical walls ?

The wall was flanked on one side by a large, bulky case good and a heavy stone fireplace on the other. The natural focal point in the space was between these two items, but adding a traditional eye catching piece would have competed with the existing structures. Instead we introduced 5 mounted succulent frames from the fabulous Etsy shop MagpieCacti.

These vertical succulent gardens added interest, color and texture in a subtle… and extremely unique way.

Struggling to find a focal point, have an awkward blank wall or looking for a creative way to incorporate color and texture into your space? Contact us today. We work locally with clients in Marquette,MI and consult virtually for clients nation-wide!

Sincerely,
Allison
