I love pinterest. It is a great communication tool in the designer-client relationship. 99% of my clients use pinterest to tag their dream spaces and then share those boards with me as we begin working on a project. It is a great window into their ‘design mind’ and often times helps me understand their aesthetic in ways they might not have been able to express to me.

I am loving this recent image I pulled from a client inspired board for a blue and red bonus room by Emily Henderson.  Something about the simpleness of the design and the nautical colors remind me of summers on the lake.   Although the project for my client went in a bit of different direction…this image can still serve as inspiration for your space.
