TREND ALERT! COLORED KITCHEN CABINETS

Colored kitchen cabinets are on the rise!  White kitchens had a huge moment for the last several years.  But today’s trends are moving in a different direction and using color in a bold way!  Dark greens, blues and grays are filling our Pinterest boards.  The notion that we need to play it safe in the kitchen has gone by the wayside. Now more than ever the kitchen is the heart of the home and a place where people want to showcase their design style and unique tastes. With online cabinet makers and box stores like Ikea selling kitchens, people no longer have to spend a fortune on cabinetry.

Because of these affordable options we are seeing a swing away from the safe and into the bold!

Sick of boring old white kitchens? So are we! Try some of these colors to inject tons of life + personality into your space.

Here are a few of our favorite blues. Adding blue to a kitchen makes it feel crisp, fresh and modern.  We love the idea of these blues paired with light wood tones and chrome fixtures.

Green hues seem to go with everything.  Make a statement by pairing green cabinets with butcher block counter tops and black hardware!

Although some might argue gray is more of a neutral these days, how people are incorporating it into their kitchen space has us seeing it in a whole new way.  Try warming these grays up with walnut wood tones and brass fixtures.

If you are looking to update and liven up your kitchen try going with one of these bold colors!  Or if all this color talk scares you— reach out for support! We can help you pull together the kitchen plan of your dreams. We work locally with clients in Marquette, MI and virtually with client nation-wide!

Sincerely,
Allison
