Anyone who has planned or is planning a wedding knows how much time, thought and creativity goes into it. You try to find a color scheme and decor that speaks to your personal style, but why does it have to stop at the head table?! You can easily draw inspiration from all the details of your big day and translate it into your home. Here is how I broke down this brightly colored candy table from Real simple:

A.  Brightly colored chevron candy bags add great pattern to this wedding. Translate it into your home with a cushy area rug or a cozy throw pillow.

B. The various shades of pink with pops or orange and turquoise create a fun and lively environment. Try some of these shades by Benjamin Moore accented with this glass table lamp.

C. Although chevron is the main pattern, interest and variety are created by introducing polka dots into the scheme. Do it in a more subtle way with this round decorative wall mirror, as to not overwhelm the space with pattern.
