These details have been a long time coming–sorry for the delay things have been very busy! This project, for head blogger at Ain’t no Mom Jeans,was one of my absolute favorite to work on. That mama has got GREAT style and we had to translate it into her living space–while making it functional for two little ones!
Since the space was a rental we chose to go with a crisp modern white for the walls. Benjamin Moore OC-117 Simply White creates a perfect backdrop for the addition of some really bold colors
We create warmth and a sense of lived-in comfort by layering texture and pattern. A large scale (& affordable) sisal area rug layered under a bold pattern rug allows the living space to be anchored without breaking the bank.
We added additional seating to a tight space by using a small scale indoor/outdoor chair in the corner. Layer with a faux fur throw to make it extra cozy!
A few simple, inexpensive changes in the dining room create a defined and stylish space. We swapped out two of their exisiting dining chairs for ones that pack a punch of color. The wire pendant chandelier anchors the dining table, without the need to be hardwired–bonus for a rental space!

A few minimal changes, fresh paint and the addition of bright colors matched with a variety of textures creates a budget friendly space the whole family can enjoy!
