The Curio Coastal Chic project reveal was a big one. We wanted to take the time to break out some of the details of each space. First up is the main level master bathroom. This is the first space we designed in the condo and loved all the combinations of texture and contrasting colors. We used this as our guide moving forward and designing all other spaces to support this design.
The Before.
The before wasn’t terrible. It had a good quality cabinets and great natural lighting. But the shower felt small and cramped and the flooring was underwhelming to say the least. Our plan of attack was to make this space feel significantly larger without actually adding ANY square footage. And on a side note we were thrilled to be able to repurpose a ton of this material for someone’s renovation project– no added waste to the landfill is always a huge bonus for us!
The Plan.
A focal shower of dark navy subway tile with other finishes all feeling light, neutral and natural. We built out the design around a fun floor tile that effortlessly combines the warm and cool tones we find throughout this entire condo.
