Doesn’t everyone love a beautiful before and after? This kitchen gave us a lot to work with and the clients were wonderful to collaborate with to bring the vision to life.
BEFORE: A LOT of oak cabinetry, a microwave as a focal point, and a layout that worked but didn’t quite meet their needs. The kitchen was functional, but not particularly inspired.

THE PLAN: The goal? The house has great Victorian bones and wood trim throughout. The goal was to design a kitchen that finally matched the rest of it.
A white subway tile backsplash handles the everyday backdrop, and a marble mosaic niche behind the range earns a second look every time. It’s a small detail that does a lot.
The buffet wall got its own dedicated treatment: dark walnut cabinetry, a peg rail for functional storage, and a built-in coffee station. It went from unused wall space to the most purposeful corner of the room.
Brass hardware runs throughout — knobs, bar pulls, and sconces flanking the sink window — cohesive without being matchy.
Above the tile, a soft botanical wallpaper brings in texture and a nod to the home’s history, without taking itself too seriously.

PROJECT REVEAL: LINEN FIELDS KITCHEN
The result is a kitchen with a point of view. Layered, intentional, and suited to the needs of people who live there.
