Time for another project reveal! Over the last year or so we have been working on a lot more small businesses and commercial restaurant interiors. This is work we really feel we thrive in. Taking a brand and turning it into a physical space that helps deliver a better experience to the user and therefore has a direct impact on the businesses bottom line. A well designed interior for your business can quickly translate into:: more free or non-paid advertising through social media posts by users, repeat clients, happier employees, clients who are willing and eager to spend more time and cash in your place.

Third Street Bagel is a cult favorite for the local Marquette population. It is a place that prides itself as much on it’s interiors as it does on it’s bagels. We are AMPED to be part of the team to renovate this iconic Third Street Location.

THE BEFORE.

A place as busy as Third Street gets a ton of wear! This means that the reno from about 10 years back was due for a major face lift.

THE PLAN.

The main focus of the renovation was reorganizing the front service counter to make room for a new made-to-order salad station (yum!). We spent a ton of time making sure all the equipment will fit, and the flow of the space works properly from entering, queuing and paying at the point of sale. We were so amped to design the custom merchandise display for the point of sale and have that vision brought to life. Not only does it block the sightline to the back of house bagel prep area, it also conveniently stores all the items needed within quick reach of the cash register.

From there we layered in TONS of beautiful and functional materials. The walls and ceilings were painted a light neutral and the floors were replaced in a mix of 3 tiles to give visual interest. The booths were recovered in a funky pattern that brought in that class Third Street Bagel green. Pops of yellow
