It’s REVEAL TIME! And this one has been a long time coming! Mainly because, phew, things got really busy for a while there. Well they are actually keeping that busy momentum but I had to carve out some time to show you guys the kitchen from the Mid Century Main House Project, because it’s just sooooo pretty and it totally deserves a moment in the spotlight.
This was an amazing project that first started out with the Mid Century Cottage.—a small two bedroom guest house on the property of the main house, which is now an AirBnB you guys. So you can come visit our beautiful city + stay inside one of our projects! We then moved on to the main house and started a full-gut reno of the entire house. The kitchen is obviously the heart of any modern day home. We focus a lot on kitchen design trends, chatting about what to consider before a kitchen reno, when to bring in a designer, cabinet colors , right down to accessorizing + styling because these are are key parts to a flawless renovation.
This particular project was over a year in the making. We knocked out walls and explored a variety of layouts. We sampled a variety of colors for the cabinets and then meticulously picked out the perfect coordinating wood stain and countertop. We looked at dining chairs and barstools (oh boy did we look at bar stools) until we found just the right one. We had SO SO SO many things custom made ( dining table and bench, those kick-ass light fixtures, and that amazing glass wall). Because when we can’t find just the right thing, we call on your army of talented trades-people to make it a reality. We do ALL. OF. THIS with pride, joy and passion knowing it will translate into a dream space for our clients. Without further delay, feast your eyes on the Mid Century Main House Kitchen.
